Foxtel reschedules Those Who Kill

US crime series which was pulled before its planned April launch, will now premiere later this month.

2014-03-24_1431US crime series Those Who Kill, which was pulled from Foxtel’s schedule before its planned April launch, will now premiere later this month.

In the US A&E pulled the series after just 2 episodes, but resumed it in another timeslot several weeks later before it was cancelled at 10 episodes.

The series is based on Danish drama Den som dræber and is adapted by Glen Morgan, best know for writing The X Files.

Based on the Danish TV crime series inspired by bestselling author Elsebeth Egholm, Those Who Kill stars Chloë Sevigny as Catherine Jensen, a brilliant police detective who tracks down serial killers. Jensen is also investigating her stepfather, who may be a serial killer, while searching for her missing brother. She enlists the help of Thomas Schaffer, a forensic psychiatrist, to help her understand the minds of serial killers, all the while luring Schaffer into her own personal investigation. Both characters possess a deep psychological understanding that connects them to the killers’ victims and to the killers themselves.

Wednesdays from June 25 at 9.30pm on SoHo.
