    @ Den…This series is really good/interesting/emotional…last night, the 3rd in the series…and yes….Jackie W….
    @ Mr Rampage….and also Poirot….very early episodes for both….
    @ WolfieBoy….Rove, not for me…he is a bit hyper for me…and I know he is involved with The Project…I just personally, do not see him as a good fit at the desk.

  2. Asher Keddie political series coming soon. My guess – after the Commonwealth Games plus the Bachelor will get viewers. Ten has less repeats than Nine, so I think they have more to worry about. I hate repeats and most US comedies grate on my nerves. 7 is the only long term steady ship. How many more Blocks do viewers want to watch? I hope this one crashes badly.
    Ten has proven that they are reading internet feedback. Just look at them now. Arrogance even when aided by false propaganda does not serve Nine well.
    Look at Big Brother, they bashed it when Ten had it. Now it is supposed to be the best thing ever LOL.
    I for one am glad that Ten looks like surviving. Saves us getting a new internet wi-fi capable TV. 🙂

  3. How could one forget?! It was barely good enough for an obscure, fringe cable network.

    So, if talent and renovation and cooking are exhausted format wise, what else could Ten commission?

    A Big Brother meets Survivor/Amazing Race hybrid?

  4. @David: Agreed. Ten keep entering the last few months of the year without a major tentpole show, and it keeps backfiring. They seem to think The Bachelor is a major tentpole, but I don’t think that’s strong enough. Now would have been the perfect time to launch some new content with the extra viewers from MCA.

    On topic and its good to see The Project 7pm improving. Family Feud doing reasonably well.

  6. What a shame Ten have nothing to take over the Masterchef slot Sunday through Tuesday. X Factor is vulnerable now and they’ll give it too easy a run after next week.

    How many years in a row now have they not got this right?

  7. M/Chef a hit with all those under 49. I’m 65 and love it but unfortunately I am in the Ch9 demographic 🙁

    7 was silly to lauch XFactor be4 M/Chef and The Voice was finished. Now paying the price. People who watch M/Chef are not just suddenly going to stop watching it.

    The Project now out-rating Ten News. A big step forward for TEN ratings I feel & well done. Rove will lift it higher I feel.

    Watched M/Chef live, then XFactor recording, followed by Tour de France live on SBS(30)

  8. Go MCA, beating both X-factor & Hamish & Andy in Sydney, plus winning all the key demo’s.
    My tip is for MCA to dominate for the rest of the week and on Sunday & Monday next week before viewers start to slowly but surely tune into The Block.
    X-factor ratings will continue to be less then last year.

  9. Masterchef beats X-factor in Syd and Melb. That’s nice too see. It looks like family feud has dipped a little bit, but still better than Modern Family.
