  1. harrypotter1994

@MuchoTB In Perth we got Bones and Castle (half an hour late which is fair enough) before everything started up again so no Agents of Shield Mid Season Final

  2. @Trev; Sydney would be different but Motorway Patrol, Nabbed and Bones still played on 7 last night in Brisbane. Nine and Ten did not play regular programming but had rolling coverage all evening

  3. Very sad day today. Our thoughts are with those 2 hostages that lost their lives and their families.

We watched Judge John Deed on 72.

24 News and 7 News during the day and early evening, watching that horrible siege unfold in Martin Place.

  4. Whichever way you look at it, there obviously were many who stayed tuned to their sets watching absolutely nothing happening. The wife and I kept on changing channels hoping one of them had the sense to resort to regular programming with only news bulletins every now and then to keep you informed.
We both commented how useless and boring it was watching and hearing all the repetition. Channel 7 was continually advertising Bones and Castle through it all.
It was sad to see the effect it had on Natalie Barr in the morning after the death toll was revealed.

  5. Obviously some of these numbers will need adjusting to reflect final Programming. Early evening news bulletins should be accurate. Corresponding half hours (ie. Big Bang Theory) will give you an idea of what kind of numbers were watching at those times. Look to overall channel share for a better overview of where audiences went. Seven’s proximity appeared to understandably give them the edge. Don’t recall seeing SKY so dominant on STV before.
