13 Comments:

  1. Watched Masterchef live on 10 and loved it.
Recorded Revenge and Fifty shades doco on 7.
Watched aome recordings, since no Giro Italia – rest day.

Promos can lure viewers but if a show is rubbish it will sink quickly. That is how it works usually.

  2. Surprised to see Married at First Sight beat Masterchef, some people watch so much rubbish, but it will be interesting to see what happens next week and the week after, think most people tuned in to see a new programme to see what it was like, but its just another reality show.

    • The scary part is the performance in the demos

Goes to show if you make a show about an activity most of your demo is probably going through, they are inclined to watch it. Smart move Ch 9, Dumb move Australian audience

  3. People actually watched LAFS? I’m amazed; how can we get better programs and less “non-reality tv” if we keep supporting absolute rubbish like this?

  4. David,

Do you think Married at First Sight will attract more or less viewers next week, especially as MasterChef continues to build…

Gee, only a few thousand difference between the two and exactly the same in Melbourne, yet different time slots!

Lots of people watching TV last night.

  5. bettestreep2008

I guess curiosity ruled last night. Will those Marriage figures continue or will it be a Reno consistently rating 700-800k or a fluctuating House Rules which went from 1m plus last night to outside Top 10 again.

For the record- I only watched MCA last night and then Midsommer Murders. You’d have to pay me to watch a marriage or reno show.
