I didn’t like any of the performances and was on my laptop for all of the show and barely looked up. didn’t vote for anyone and switched the tv off after the last performance. totally forgot that the winners of the semi were to be announced after the voting. didn’t watch any of the recording, just deleted it.
looking forward to the finals. can’t wait to see Italy perform.
Ireland were robbed! They should have made it. Latvia how the hell did that song make it through? Was really disappointed. There were no standouts in Semi-Final 2. I think the winner will come from either the pre-qualified contestants or Semi-Final 1. If the winner comes from SF2 i will be really really shocked.
Not all surprised the Ireland entry missed out … it was a drab ballad. Beautifully sung, though.
The Sweden entry was clearly the pick of SF2 and will go close to winning the final.
Yeah i know. Its how Europe votes these days. A lot of block voting. Sweden was good as was Lithuania but i just didn’t see a winner however Sweden are now the favourite to win. My favourite is definitely Russia and i think Italy is very close as well. The UK is an embarrassment. They have some of the best singers in the world and every year they send drab acts.
I cant believe Switzerland didnt get through!! She had all the ingredients for Eurovision success!! Dramatic Dress, a dress reveal, wind machine and a key change!!!
I guess that second spot really is cursed. Ireland’s song was stunning! Especially thrilled for Cyprus though. What an amazing song!
