17 Comments:

  1. 72 changed programming so that was out for Saturday for us.
Watched ABC from 7:30 pm until about 10pm 🙂
Recorded very late movies on SBS(30) and on 7.

  2. Watched Carlton v Crows game in the arvo & later Port v Dogs in the evening on 7 … good victory for Port after a tight tussle for 3 qtrs.

  3. Secret Squïrrel

Channel 10 beats SBS1 by 0.1. People would rather watch an entertaining music quiz show and a repeat of Secrets of the Manor House than the 5th repeat of the 4th X-Men movie which was third-rate. Who knew?

    • Well put on repeats over and over and that is what they deserve. Only 9 can get away with that and I am glad 10 got punished 🙂

  4. jezza the first original one

Watched Blokesworld last night, late on chOne? Insightful, progressive and entertaining…..I think!….should be on in prime time

  5. What a sad lot of programs. Do the channels imagine that everyone goes out on a Saturday night or does everybody go out to avoid this dross. No wonder people pirate.

      • The trouble with streaming is that there isn’t a lot of new stuff. When you have seen a program there isn’t a lot of incentive to watch it again and pay for the privilege. But you’re right SBS is often the only bright spot on a dull night. Their problem is that the TV guides make their programs seem odd.

        • I record a lot on digital DVR’s and then watch – if rubbish – delete and try the next one. Works for us. The trick is to record late night stuff and some of that is very good – well worth recording 🙂

    • I’m guessing they split into a 6.30pm 30 minute segment and a 7pm 20 min segment. Splitting one afl match into 4 segments just makes a mockery of the ratings system.
