It’s like an Origin battle all over again.

Brisbane newlyweds Ben and Danielle will take on Sydney father and daughter duo Steve and Tiana in Seven’s House Rules Grand Final.

They were rewarded with a placing in the final at the expense of Victorian couple Bronik & Corinne in a Charity House Challenge for four kids and their carer.

NSW scored 17 points, Queensland scored 16, and Victoria missed by two points to finish with 14.

“What a journey it has been,” Bronik said. “All journeys must come to an end and ours has ended sooner than we wanted it to. But this competition has brought Corrine and I such a life-changing opportunity. The future holds big things for us.”

Now NSW & Queensland teams will face off in one last renovation challenge, for the ultimate prize of having their mortgage paid. The judges’ scores will be combined with a public vote to determine the winner.

Tiana said: “Since Mum passed away, Dad has sacrificed so much for us and for him to be mortgage free would be an absolute dream.”

Ben and Danielle agreed, “We already feel so lucky and to get our mortgage paid off would set us up for life.”

House Rules grand final airs 7:30pm Monday on Seven.
