Former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright is set for a guest appearance on the second season of Madam Secretary.
Albright, who held the position during President Clinton’s second term in office from 1997-2001, will advise Elizabeth McCord (Tea Leoni) on how to navigate a sticky situation with National Security Advisor Craig Sterling (Julian Acosta), that is threatening to fracture her relationship with President Conrad Dalton (Keith Carradine).
“Beyond honored to have @Madeleine Albright on the #MadamSecretary set today! #MatchingPins” Leoni tweeted.
Creator and showrunner Barbara Hall has previously noted Albright’s assistance behind the scenes.
“She’s very, very eager to weigh in and help us,” she has noted.
