No Xena reboot yet, says Lucy Lawless.

Media reports of a Xena: Warrior Princess reboot appear to have been premature, according to former star Lucy Lawless.

Yesterday reports emerged that NBC and NBC Universal International were considering a “modern reboot” of the show, with original producers Rob Tapert and Sam Raimi helping to develop the show.

Lawless recently told San Diego Comic Con, “I’ve been pitching that show … because … there’s a swell of interest still,”

“I’m always being peppered with questions [about] when the Xena movie is coming. Guys, I’m pitching my ass off to make it happen, whether it’s with me or not”
