“That’s in the offing, yeah,” ex Prison Break star Wentworth Miller has told TVLine.

“Conversations are happening,” he says of a potential revival, acknowledging that everything he said was “assuming Michael is still alive.”

Miller’s character Michael Scofield was electrocuted in the telemovie, Prison Break: The Final Break, but the show has previously revived dead characters such as Sarah Wayne Callies’ character who died in Season 3.

“I mean, Sara was dead,” he said.

“The [concept] that I’ve heard is completely brilliant, so people will be fine.”

Meanwhile Miller teams up again with former co-star Dominic Purcell for comic book series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

  1. Loved the first season, and from memory, season 2 was alright. I think I watched season 3 eventually (maybe borrowed a DVD from someone). I never got back for season 4. I believe that many shows would be better off planning for no more than 2 seasons and have 2 really strong seasons, and let it wrap up in a planned fashion. It rarely works to have these shows continue form longer. The story lines become forced, or repetitive or plain fanciful.

  2. Absolutely loved Prison Break back in the day. Season 1 was brilliant. Season 2 good. But it was all downhill once Season 3 was affected by the writer’s strike. Hopefully a return will be filled with similar twists and turns of Season 1.

  3. The show initially killed Sara off, because there was a contract dispute between the network and Sarah Wayne Callies. However, the fan uproar over this led to them bringing her back for Season 4 and explaining her return as Sara escaping her captor and her captor then killing another woman to convince Lincoln she was dead.

  4. Prison Break had a crazy plot that was designed for run for 13 eps. It got tiresome as soon as they stretched it to a full season. Without a prison it was just another silly conspiracy theory show with ever more silly twists and turns with no drama.

But nobody even bothers to even check out most new US dramas, because they know the scripts will be awful and it will be cancelled if on the off chance that they aren’t. So the networks are remaking shows that were axed because people got tired of them years ago, because at least people will at least remember the name from when they watched the early seasons.

  5. Sara didnt die did she? It was Michael who was killed off and she was raising there son michael jnr. Or has it been that long since it aired I have forgotten
