  1. Note to SBS, I’m not going to create an account with your crap online site just to complain. I stupidly forgot to record the final ep of the Uranium doco and had to endure your awful so called On Demand service. Enjoyed the first 20 mins until the screen went blank, had audio, clicked back only to be returned to the start again and again. I never used to have a problem with On Demand until you introduced your so called new improved service, but it is now an anti service.
Iview is the only catch up I trust and will watch. All the others are just atrocious and are an added embarrassment to Australian television, which surely has the most pathetic bunch of broadcasters in the world.

  2. Must be a lot of over 55s watching. You would think that the demos were referring to a different night because of the difference to the general figures.

  3. I watched Fear: The Walking Dead. Well I started to but FF’d through most of it. My God it was boring. 90m to introduce a school, counsellor, her drug addict son, A student daughter, boyfriend (with estranged wife and son who will form a inevitable triangle).

The dead now walk from the beginning, (something Rick & co only found out after he killed Shane). And a councillor and drug addict son (twice) can fight off the walking dead unarmded without a scratch, but a single walker can massacre lots of armed police who aren’t scheduled to appear next week. And they are supposed to know what it happening but have been keeping a secret, except form crazy people who read the internet, so that lots more people be infected.

And people are supposed to be surprised and stay home when US police shoot people and that it got filmed once!! If only the writers of the show had ever watched a new…

  4. Watched about 10 minutes of “The Hotplate” before putting on a DVD. I’m not surprised channel 7 sued, the similarities to MKR are appalling. It’s like watching the same show!

  5. Well done to HYBPA? for while only just making it into the top 20 still managed to kick it in the demos! Definitely my favourite TEN show this year.

      • Staggering works well while a lot of viewers want to watch both shows, instead of your competition.

But when people are a bit tired of a show, or are forced to make choices about what to watch and record with a limited number of tuners, then it can cause numbers to collapse rapidly. Some people will record HH because they didn’t want to watch HP until it came on. Others will not watch or not record it because it now clashes with something else they usually watch or record, or because they simply get out of the habit of doing so.
