Today is off on another week-long road trip across the country from Monday, March 7 travelling from the Sunshine Coast to Freycinet in Tasmania.

It will include performances by Ian Moss and Missy Higgins.

Lisa Wilkinson said: “Since our last trip, we’ve been inundated with suggestions from viewers on even more new and amazing locations to travel to, so we can’t wait to get on the road and start exploring.”

Karl Stefanovic added: “I won’t lie – we have the best time when we’re away on our We Love Australia trips. Every single one of the towns we’ve visited has made us feel so welcome – not to mention that the food and beer are always way better. As are Dickie’s dance moves at the local pubs. I never get sick of Dicky dancing.”

Broadcasting Live on the Nine Network across Australia, Karl Stefanovic, Lisa Wilkinson and Richard Wilkins will be heading off to discover more magical parts of regional New South Wales, the pristine beaches of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, as well as checking in with the people of Lorne in Victoria to see how they’re recovering from the recent devastating bushfires.

Ross Greenwood will stop in at Silverton, near Broken Hill, at the start of the week to make sure the team aren’t spending too much and Tim Gilbert will drop by to see the gang at picturesque Henley Beach, the seaside suburb of Adelaide. Stevie Jacobs will also be criss-crossing the country for special weather reports – reporting Live every day from a new location, including the gorgeous Yarra Valley in Victoria and Freycinet in Tasmania.

Then, on Friday, March 11, the team reunite with Sylvia Jeffreys at Sydney’s Circular Quay at The Rocks to celebrate another massive We Love Australia trip.

The always fun, five-day travel adventure will feature stories of vibrant local people and businesses, as well as surprise entertainment and famous faces joining the team along the way – including special performances by Aussie music legends, Ian Moss and Missy Higgins. The always popular Dickie’s Double Dip will also be making a return.

Monday, March 7 – Silverton, NSW and Freycinet, Tasmania
Tuesday, March 8 – Henley, South Australia and Yarra Valley, VIC
Wednesday, March 9 – Lorne, VIC and Blue Mountains, NSW
Thursday, March 10 – Mooloolaba, Sunshine Coast, QLD and Canberra, ACT

  1. Today show copying sunrise yet again sunrise is touring the country this week as well . The sad thing is they both always go to the same destinations all the time wonder if it’s got to do with their sponsors like Jetstar Sponser sunrise so it must be a Jetstar stop over . Because there are so many towns and coastal villages both shows have never been to yet they are always on the Gold Coast .neither show has ever visited the south coast of NSW ever.our favourite holiday destination.

  2. I’ve never understood why Today never take their newsreader with them when they go on trips. Sunrise always take Natalie with them. Silvie’s part of the team too, she should go with them.

    1. That’s not what I was implying. The fact that Sunrise is ‘on-the-road’ this week and then Today decide to a similar road trip the very next week. Reminds me when Sunrise travelled to the US last year and suddenly, Today goes there too. ‘Nuff said.
