Conrad Sewell to perform at Logies

Brissy-boy Conrad Sewell will perform at this year’s Logie Awards.
The 28-year-old has had a huge 18 months thanks to his hits “Firestone” (with Norway’s Kygo) and “Start Again.”
“I’m so excited and honoured,” he said. “I grew up watching the Logie Awards and all the incredible performances on TV. I can’t wait to share my special performance with everyone.”
TV Week editor Emma Nolan added, “We’re delighted Conrad is performing this year.
“He’s a fantastic talent and his song ‘Start Again’ was one of the biggest hits of last year. There’s no doubt he will put on a great performance at this year’s Logies – I can’t wait to see him light up the stage!”
In recent years some observers have questioned a dominance of international acts at the Logies, let’s see if this puts those to rest.

Yet to be announced.
I echo your last editorial line here David. I’m not holding my breath though; if it’s not an overseas pop sensation or 2nd tier name; its an actor from an American drama or comedy who looks like the deer in the headlights when presenting. Anything that mitigates that cultural cringe at the Logies is a good thing.
