Season Two of Bosch, starring Titus Welliver as a tenacious LAPD Homicide detective begins on SBS in early May.

The series was just renewed in the US for a third season.

SBS will also be replaying S1 starting April 17 on SBS On Demand before season 2 begins.

Returning from suspension, Bosch’s first case may prove his biggest challenge yet. A dead body found in the trunk of a car on Mulholland Drive appears to have a mob connection and leads Bosch and his investigation to Las Vegas. As the case becomes more complex, and intensely personal, Bosch follows a dangerous trail of corruption and collusion, one that uncovers the dark side of the police department and threatens Bosch’s relentless pursuit of truth.

The second season will take viewers through Los Angeles and into the underbelly of Las Vegas, drawing on plotlines from three of Michael Connelly’s novels: Trunk Music, The Drop and The Last Coyote.

The ten-part crime drama also stars Jamie Hector as Jerry Edgar, Bosch’s capable and cool partner in Hollywood Homicide, Lance Reddick as Deputy Chief Irvin Irving, the Deputy Chief who has a love-hate relationship with Bosch, and Amy Aquino as Lt. Grace Billets, the commanding officer of LAPD Homicide.

Wednesday, 4 May at 8.30pm on SBS.
