Life imitates art as US actor Erik Estrada becomes a real-life cop in Idaho.
Estrada played a California Highway Patrolman with co-star Larry Wilcox in the US police series which ran for six seasons from 1977-83.
Strictly speaking it’s not the first time he has worn a badge, having previously been a deputy sheriff in Virginia in 2009.
Estrada now works in the Internet Crimes Against Children department.
An honor for me and my partner daryl Williams ,we now serve the saint Anthony police dept. Proudly. pic.twitter.com/pzrhhC3PU9
