  1. Well Channel TEN must be quite chuffed the original airing of Graham Norton 7:30pm Wednesday got 465,000 and the encore 8:30pm last night got 323,000 = 778,000 viewers, that’s quite impressive really, the encore used to be on Eleven on Sunday and never did that for them.

  2. @Sully
The power of the AFL is only coming out of Melbourne.
AFL SwansPies FTA ratings are very poor in Sydney last night only 40k.
FoxFooty #AFLSwansPies Sydney only got 33k.
    Not a good look.

  3. All I’ll say about the power of the AFL is… Wow.

Massive 407k in Melbourne, topped two of the key advertising demographics & made the Top 10!

That’s all without the Sydney, Brisbane & Perth audiences too.

Lead Seven to another massive win.

(NRL was also a 1 point ball game, yet rated poorly again, barely 200k in Sydney & 100k in Brisbane… For a Friday night!?).

      • @clipper
Channel 7 need to make money through advertising putting the Swans on the main channel would be poisonous to the rating on Friday night in NSW. Channel 7 know this thats why it’s on 7mate.
Swans v Pies 35k crowd is pretty poor by AFL standards. It was the biggest H&A AFL game of the year in Sydney.

        • @craigo – it was pretty much a sellout – you can’t fit anymore people in at the SCG! It’s on 7mate because of contra with the AFL, so they show it live every week – it probably wouldn’t even be on otherwise, much like the Storm in Melbourne.
