Actress, sister critical after Boxing Day road accident

Jessica Falkholt, who appeared in Home & Away, is in a critical condition after fatal NSW road accident.

An actress who appeared in Home and Away is in St George Hospital after a fatal road accident on the New South Wales south coast on Boxing Day.

Jessica Falkholt, 28, who appeared in the Seven soap for 2 months in 2016 is in a critical condition, along with her sister Annabelle, 21, after their car collided with another vehicle on the Princes Highway. Their parents and an Ulladulla man both died in the incident.

Their family of four from Ryde had been returning home about 10.45am when a 50-year-old male driver veered across the Princes Highway near Sussex Inlet and hit their car head on.

Falkholt is a NIDA graduate who appeared as waitress Hope Morrison on Home and Away over 16 episodes last year, alongside on-screen sister Raffy “Sparrow” Morrison, played by Olivia Deeble.

Her other credits include Underbelly: Badness, Tricky Business and has the title role in the upcoming feature Harmony featuring Jacqueline McKenzie.

“This Christmas and New Year period is meant to be a time of happiness and to spend time with family and sadly for many, this has resulted in tragedy,” NSW Police Chief Inspector Phil Brooks told Nine News.
