  1. I would have thought that at least one of the carols (“daytime encores”) might have snuck into the top 20 this year, but not the case this time around.

    A shame that Studio 10 was nowhere to be seen, as it was the only morning show out there (any idea on how it went by any chance?). And that the US Christmas Pageant rated higher to come in 16th place (aired 8.30-10.30am).

  2. Always amazing to see such low figures on Australian television on Christmas Day. I was from the UK originally and Christmas Day is always The ratings day of the year when the networks roll out their biggest guns, special episodes of regular series and large scale one offs, often receiving massive ratings. Everyone sits down after Christmas dinner to watch television and that culture does not seem to exist here. It is very odd. What are people actually doing on Christmas night?
