  1. Tom Ballard needs to learn that constantly adding the F-word to unfunny material does not miraculously make it funny. I had to turn it off after 10 minutes as I hadn’t laughed once and more than patiently hoped it would improve. Insiders on a Sunday morning offers more laughs than what was dished up last night. Some quality comedy writers are urgently needed if this turkey is to survive. I won’t be going out of my way to watch it again. I’d much rather ABC2 (still waiting for the Comedy to apply) bring back Dirty Laundry Live!

    • Thought it was an ok start, will take time to find its rhythm. Tom was outrageously confident (a good thing). Agree less F-bombs would be better, use sparingly for effect, otherwise they become all we hear.

  2. Interesting to see with the Cricket on now compared to not being on this time last year how the news shows fared.

    ABC News up 2.6%
    Nine News up 44.9%
    Seven News up 24%
    The Project down 18.6%
    TEN News down 13.8%

Clearly most networks benefit from the Cricket on around news time apart from one.

63000 for the launch of Tonightly With Tom Ballard must be considered a disastrous failure? Especially as it was positioned as the flagship of the newly branded of ABC Comedy. It was a strange programing decision to launch ABC Comedy’s only new content at 9pm, after showing two hours of repeats. Baffling.
