  1. Harrow was one of the best dramas of the year. So happy it was brought back for Season 2. Ioan Gruffudd was equally good in the short-lived series Forever, where coincidentally, he also played a sort of immortal pathologist, while Judd Hirsch played his much older son. I loved both series, and can’t wait for Season 2 of Harrow. Well done to everyone involved with the series!

  2. I love Ioan Gruffudd as an actor, but he is terrible in this. His facial expressions do not match what is happening. H e is just woode.,Must be some QLD Gov money helping with the renewal.

  3. Cleverman and The Code both got renewed in spite they were totally confusing and nobody watched them. Harrow is so badly written and acted I only watch it to see what records he’s playing on his boat (a lot less interesting than it sounds). The ABC should pay off as many people as possible to avoid a second season.

    1. The first seasons of Cleverman and The Code rated ok, and got a lot of younger viewers. They should have been one-done-though. The writing and directing on Harrow has been very uneven but that’s fairly typical for Australian TV. The first two eps of Harrow were terrible, but some of the latter Murder of The Week stories are better.

      1. I agree, if Ioan Gruffudd and the nude cadavers were not in the starring role the other cast members would struggle to keep this show interesting, apart from Ella newton who shows some promise.I think this show may become popular in the UK if it had some idyllic coastal scenes.

  4. Great to see. I love seeing Brissy used as a location (even hearing real not made up place names). I have seen them filming many many times around Kangaroo Point & the Brisbane River.

  5. ABC Studios International and the ABC had agreed to two seasons of Harrow from the beginning. Gruffudd stated that S2 had been commissioned by the ABC, planning was underway and that they were going to start shoot S2 late Summer (Northern Hemisphere) so that the shooting of Liar S2 would pushed back till Jan 2019. Hoodlum confirmed this. It was reported in Deadline on 23/2/18, before S1 started. The ABC is just “confirming” this now as publicity to boost ratings for the last 2 eps.
