Dick Wolf dramas Law and Order: SVU and Chicago Fire are amongst renewals for the prolific US producer.
Law & Order: SVU has been renewed for a 20th season, now matching Gunsmoke as the longest-running primetime drama series on US television. Original drama Law & Order also reached 20 seasons but was cruelly cut short of claiming the record before 21 seasons.
The show is still pulling just under 6 million viewers in Live+Same viewing. It airs in Australia on TEN.
Chicago Fire, with Aussie Jesse Spencer, is also pulling just under 6 million viewers and is renewed to a seventh season. It airs in Australia on FOX8 and Seven.
Chicago PD, which also screens on Foxtel, has also been renewed to a sixth season.
Chicago Med, which screened on Nine, is renewed to fourth season.

We love all three of the Chicago Shows but couldn’t rely on Nine to show Med. While we watch Fire and PD on Foxtel, we have had to resort to other means to watch MED. It has been a great show so far and has great story lines going at the moment. And it works in well with the other 2. Pity Nine don’t value their viewers enough to be consistent.
when will Chicago Med return on 9. i love SVU (Mariska Hargitay is my favourite), i hope it goes to season 21 it deserves it
