Tenplay is about to fast-track Bold and the Beautiful episodes for fans, ahead of their TV broadcast.

Tenplay will be hosting a ‘Bold-A-Thon’ of episodes from Friday June 29 bringing fans fully up to date with US soap. From July 3 tenplay.com.au/boldfasttracked will have episodes in line with the USA.

But for fans who prefer to just continue following on TV, regular episodes will screen as normal 4.30 weekdays on TEN, and will continue to be available to catch up at tenplay.com.au/bold.

TEN recently reduced the 9 week waiting time to just 3 weeks for fans.

    1. To build their online offering. Those viewers might just check out what other shows are on the platform, wander over to Ten Daily, etc. That’s additional revenue from online ads and branded content online.

    2. I assume Bold and the Beautiful would bring in mostly an older audience (65+) than the people that would use Tenplay. Also Tenplay streams count towards ratings so maybe when those episodes air the Tenplay ratings would be included in the broadcast ratings?

      1. It won’t have a detrimental effect on ratings. B&B (as well as DOOL and Y&R) are mainly watched by the older female demo who still watch terrestrial TV. The younger demo’s are the ones who will stream it online.

        It’s a bit like newspapers. My 87 year old mother reads the print edition while I at 58 read both the print and online edition. My 28 year old niece reads only the online edition.
