Seven has opened casting for House Rules 8, which is an early move given Season 7 airs in 2019.
This presumably means either it has the confidence for 2020 OR we are getting 2 seasons next year OR it hopes to segue straight into filming the next season after the current for economic reasons.
Season 7 is currently filming around the country.
To apply you must:
– Be over 18 years of age.
– Be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident
– own your own home

Hopefully they all sold up before the spit-and-tissue paper renovations collapsed around them in a cloud of toxic taste dust.
I know a couple from the 2016 series, he is a builder and was very happy with the quality of their renovation. I guess there are some people who can only make negative comments though, regardless of the truth.
Would be interesting to know how many of the teams from earlier series are still in their revamped homes and how many sold up at the first chance.
And how many use a 2nd house they own to get fixed up.
There used to be rules to be prevent flipping, such as retaining ownership for 12 months after show, and I think a requirement to be living in it. I can’t recall if those changed.
I saw in the newspaper about a month ago that the home in the Grampians from a couple of seasons ago is on the market.
