Foxtel is exploring the possibility of ESPN and beIN SPORTS being added to its upcoming streaming sports service, according to the Australian Financial Review.
ESPN has US sports such as the National Basketball Association and Major League Baseball, while beIN SPORTS has rights to European rugby.
Foxtel’s plans for a “Netflix of Sport” has been pushed back from its original launch date and is expected in early December.
Under the rumoured name of Kayo Sports, there is speculation it will cost between $19.95 and $25 per month.
A Foxtel spokesperson declined to comment.

The hell kind of name is Kayo Sports?
SportsPlay
SportStream
SportsNow
They’re not original or great but I think those are better than Kayo Sports. Unless Foxtel are trying to launch a sub-brand for affordable TV and Sports is the first step.
At least they didn’t call it Fox Peach…
Ha! Gold! Comment of the week right there!
‘Kayo Sports’? What the?
So this new service is basically a cheaper version of Foxtel Now? (which requires a minimum $39/m spend if you want sports).
