US comedy Trial & Error has been axed after just two seasons.
Season one starred John Lithgow as a professor who is accused of murdering his wife, while a young New York attorney (Nicholas D’Agosto) winds up as his defence lawyer.
The cast also included Jayma Mays, Steven Boyer, Sherri Shepherd, and Krysta Rodriguez.
Producers Warner Bros. TV remains open to reviving the true-crime spoof after NBC passed on a third season.
It aired in Australia on Seven.

But was/is the 2nd series with Kristin Chenoweth as the new lead ‘suspect’ to play on Seven? or another platform??? Curious
I loved S1. Do you know if Ch7 ever got around to showing S2 David or did I miss it?
They could not possibly fit it on to one of their 5 channels. Too many shows to repeat and rehash.
