This week marks 50 years since The Brady Bunch launched. Here’s a scene from the Pilot.
“50 years ago today The Brady Bunch pilot ‘The Honeymoon’ first aired,” Maureen McCormick said. “This show and all the crew, cast, extended family members, and fans of the show will always hold a very special place in my heart. Happy 50th Anniversary The Brady Bunch!”
Christopher Knight on Instagram said, “Today we are celebrating 50 years!! The first episode aired on September 26, 1969. It ended in 1974 with 117 episodes produced. But as you can see we have stood the test of time and probably will forever thanks to all of you who have shown us so much support over the years! Happy 50th Anniversary The Brady Bunch!!”
Meanwhile A Very Brady Renovation will premiere on Australian television on TLC channel on Monday October 7.

Ahhhh the old days, when my Sister used to want to watch The Brady Bunch (along with The Patty Duke Show and Gilligans Island) on Channel 0 and I used to want to watch *The Goodies/F-Troop/My Favorite Martian/The Ghost And Mrs Muir and Doctor Who on Channel 2 and we only had one Television.
*Those ones rotated and at one point I think Flashez was on at 5:30pm, plus I’m sure GTK was on 6:30pm when Doctor Who wasn’t, also that was Mon-Thurs as Bellbird was on Friday’s (and Mum won that timeslot).
