Axed: Hinch

EXCLUSIVE: That’s life. SKY News has axed Hinch but there’s a promise of more for veteran host Derryn Hinch.

A SKY News spokesperson told TV Tonight, “The Hinch program will not be continuing in 2020 on SKY News. The last episode will go to air on Thursday December 12.

“We would like to thank Derryn for all his hard work and effort and look forward to working with him on a new project in 2020.”

As rumoured, his Thursday slot will be replaced by former 2GB presenter Chris Smith.

Hinch joined SKY in 2014 but halted his show when he entered federal politics in 2016 before returning in June.
