“We hope we made your mornings fun and your afternoons happy.”

That’s all folks. Kids WB screened its last ever episode on Nine, ending a 13 year run.

Kids WB screened its last ever episode on Nine yesterday, after a 13 year run.

Nine recently confirmed the final show, due to the end of its content deal with Warner Bros.

On Instagram, Lauren Phillips wrote, “Today after 13 years, our final episode of KidsWB goes to air. After 9 fun filled years hosting along side three of the biggest legends I’ve ever known, it’s a sad day.

“To the wonderful, fun, creative, kind and clever people who have worked on KidsWB over the years, thank you for the laughs, the madness, the endless happy memories. Thanks for encouraging us to make as much mess as we could, for dressing us up as the most ridiculous things you could think of (like a Christmas pudding riding a bucking reindeer), for keeping us out of trouble and for keeping us laughing during some of the longest record days known to man.

“We travelled the world together, we knew each other backwards, we looked out for one another, we’ve made life long friendships. It’s been an absolute joy.

“To the kids and families who woke up with us on weekends and hung out with us after school- thank you. We loved your letters, your emails and your drawings. (Even if you did make me question some of my fashion choices and hair cuts with some of your portraits)

“We hope we made your mornings fun and your afternoons happy. We absolutely loved making this show for you. ?

“Walking into the KidsWB studio was like walking into the happiest place on earth. I’m sure going to miss you. ?”

Co-presenter Andy Sunderland simply added, “They say all good things must come to an end ? KidsWB you were THE BEST EVER!!!…That’s all folks “

  1. So many shows that have had decade(s) long runs. Where are young people going to start their career in tv. Soon everything will be pumped out of Sydney or Melbourne.

  2. Such a shame. Lauren Phillips, Andy Sunderland, Georgia Sinclair and Shura Taft were great presenters. To quote the Simpsons “Won’t somebody please think of the children”.
I’m surprised Toasted TV is still running.
