It's a fresh coat of paint for new ABC host David Speers this Sunday.

Out with the old, and in with the new…. Insiders will unveil a new set on Sunday morning when David Speers takes to the new hosting role.
The sleek new set, uploaded in a pic by exec producer Samuel Clark, appears to dispense with the Melbourne skyline used with former host Barrie Cassidy.
ABC will also unveil a new Q&A set on Monday week with new host Hamish Macdonald.
Monday’s return episode is a special bushfire edition taking place in Bega, NSW.

I prefer the animated city view. It made the tiny studio look bigger. This yellow backdrop will make it look like a broom cupboard.
It may well be a video screen meaning it can be versatile.
Yeah I assume it will change maybe to a background relating to the topic they’re on. Or could be interactive too.
I just wish they’d replace that damned hideous and distracting ‘The Drum’ set and graphics.
Oh yes….they have tweaked a little but still awful…another ABC offering I mostly listen to rather than watch.
Will the pendulum swing to the left, center,or right?
Looks like they’ve got room for an extra “panelist” on the bigger couch.
