Seven News Melbourne political reporter Brendan Donohoe has signed off after 30 years with the network and 42 in journalism.
He has been State Political Reporter since 1990, winning several Quill Awards including the Gold Quill in 2006. During that time he has seen it all on Spring Street from Premiers Cain, Kirner, Kennett, Bracks, Brumby, Baillieu, Napthine and Andrews.
On Twitter he wrote, “Goodbye. Last day at Victorian Parliament after 42 years as a journalist including a memorable 30 years at Seven News and the rest at The Truth, TV Week, The Australian, The Age, The Herald and The Sunday Age. Been an amazing privilege. Thanks to all. Brendan X”
