He died on Monday in Nashville, Tennessee, due to complications from Parkinson’s disease, his brother announced on Facebook.

Lester played Eb Dawson on the Green Acres, from 1965 to 1971. He is believed to have been the last surviving cast member.

Lester also appeared in The Beverly Hillbillies and Petticoat Junction and reprised his role for the telemovie Return to Green Acres in 1990.

  1. I really liked that guy when I was a kid. He seemed like the all-American clean-cut farm boy. I liked Mr Haney as well but Eb was younger and was someone the kids could identify with in the show.
