Three senior producers — executive producers Ed Glavin and Kevin Leman, as well as co-executive producer Jonathan Norman — have been fired from The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
A Warner Bros. spokeswoman confirmed that the three have “parted ways” with the show.
Others, Mary Connelly, Andy Lassner and Derek Westervelt will continue to executive-produce while Stephen “tWitch” Boss — the show’s resident DJ — has been promoted to co-executive producer.
The change comes less than a month after former employees came forward with allegations around workplace culture.
Variety notes an internal investigation interviewed more than 100 people connected to the show, but found no evidence of “systemic” racism on the show, although there was an acknowledgment that more needed to be done in terms of diversity and inclusion.
Warner Bros. declined to comment on the specifics of that investigation.
Last week Nine programming director Hamish Turner told TV Tonight, Nine was waiting for clarity from the US before it could confirm further seasons.
“There’s a lot to go under the bridge before we even get to that stage. We haven’t got a clear picture yet.”
The Ellen de Generes Show also airs in Australia on FOX Arena.

Maybe Ellen sacked them so she would not be sacked by the network
I really hope Nine continues with Ellen.
The DJ must know where all the bodies are buried. You don’t get that kind of promotion for spinning some music tracks…
Three senior producers falling on their swords and resigning looks to be a curiously convenient fix for a long running management issue for Helen, especially if some of the articles I read about her alleged behaviour on and off the set are true.
Mind you some of theses allegations by studio staff and social media celebrity are classic Hollywood clickbait.
I only ever watch snippets of Ellen on you tube mainly for the guest, whoever that may be. I am not a fan, sometimes just a bit too cheesey for me. Typical USA fodder really
So if nine don’t continue with Ellen will arena?
I have no info on that.
From DJ to co-executive producer, wow.
I think he deserves that promotion.
Can’t do any worse that’s for sure.
