Staggered schedules across Seven and Nine last night make for somewhat messy analysis, but while Nine led in primary channels, Seven pipped them in network share, despite 10 leading in entertainment.
And SBS share was up thanks to more armchair travel.
Gogglebox was the top entertainment drawcard at 644,000.
The Bachelor won its slot at 611,000 then 7:30 (551,000), The World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys (320,000), Kalgoorlie Cops (254,000 / 234,000 in 3 cities) and The Heights (211,000). America’s Got Talent was 180,000 across the Seven network.
NRL drew 285,000 in two cities on Nine. AFL was 185,000 on 7mate in Perth.
Seven network won Thursday with 25.8% then Nine 25.0%, 10 22.2%, ABC 15.3% and SBS 11.7%.
Seven News was #1 at 970,000 / 889,000 for Seven. Home and Away drew 522,000 then The Chase (522,000 / 319,000). The Front Bar was 231,000 across Seven’s network.
Nine News was 939,000 / 935,000. A Current Affair (667,000) and Hot Seat (470,000 / 281,000) followed. Russian Spy Assassins: The Salisbury Attack was 112,000 in 3 cities.
The Project drew 474,000 / 295,000 for 10. 10 News First was 315,000 / 231,000. A Drunk History replay pulled 237,000 then Just for Laughs (104,000).
ABC News led its slot at 711,000. Escape from the City (290,000), The Drum (197,000) and Secrets of the Museum (133,000) followed.
On SBS it was Tour de France (205,000), Secrets of the Tower of London (196,000), SBS World News (184,000).
Father Brown on 7TWOÂ topped multichannels at 198,000.
The Morning Show: 131,000 / 82,000
Today Extra: 115,000 / 71,000
Studio 10: 46,000 / 42,000 /
OzTAM Overnights: Thursday 17 September 2020.

Nice to see numbers spread over all networks…..
How’s 10 news first doing vs Nine 5pm news in Adelaide this week?
So Channel 7 – again – won the ratings because of AFL – and it wasn’t even on FTA! Well, it was on 7-mate in Perth. It’s a disgrace that pay-TV can have a monopoly on AFL by bypassing sport anti-syphoning laws.
It was on FTA but I would also look to Father Brown topping multichannels.
7 telecasts 7 AFL games a week on FTA – 9 only 3 NRL
I would say 7 have a pretty good deal – considering its the same broadcast as Fox
Last night’s Roos-Eagles match was a Fox FOoty Produced match meaning that only 7mate perth can show the match live on FTA.
That’s a good win for Seven considering Ten had two big entertainment franchises and Nine had live sport.
I’d be thanking Father Brown.
