Kishwar, Justin join Pete in MasterChef finale.

Elise Pulbrook was eliminated last night, missing out on her shot at $250,000.

Justin Narayan, Kishwar Chowdhury and Pete Campbell will compete for the MasterChef Australia 2021 title after Elise Pulbrook was eliminated last night.

With Pete already in the final, Kishwar, Justin & Elise were each tasked with serving up a 3 course meal to 60 guests in the Flemington kitchen, with one to be eliminated by the end of the episode.

Kishwar was judged as best across all 3 courses, leaving a two way battle between Justin & Elise.

In the end judges deemed Justin stronger in 2 of the courses, sending the 28 year old lawyer from Victoria packing.

“To come fourth, it blows my wildest expectations,” said Elise.

“I’m very grateful for the three of you believing in me from the get go.

“This place it elevates you, it’s because there’s exceptional people in the room. Thank you so much.”

She added, “It was a bloody great ride.”

10’s MasterChef grand final takes place across two nights.

Monday:

It’s here, the MasterChef Australia Grand Finale for 2021. Our three finalists face an incredible three round challenge over two days, with a total of 140 points up for grabs.

The judges explain that round one is a mystery box challenge. The ingredients have been selected by eight of the best chefs in the country, who have all appeared in the MasterChef kitchen across the season.

In the second round today, the contestants are surprised to see their families arrive for an emotional reunion at the MasterChef kitchen.

A family member for each contestant is invited to choose a golden ball from each of the two glass bowls on display. One ball will decide a hidden ingredient the contestant must cook with, while the second ball selected reveals a cooking method or technique.

The contestants must make a dish based on the ball selection. With another 30 points on offer, the contestants will want to come out on top.

Tuesday:

It’s day two of the epic MasterChef Australia Grand Finale for 2021 and the race to the top of the leader board, couldn’t be any more suspenseful.

The scores are close and its anyone’s competition to win.

Today is the third and final round. Our three finalists discover a double pressure test set by culinary legend and MasterChef favourite Peter Gilmore.

Peter reveals his savoury dish from the Quay menu, shaved southern squid with koji butter, shiitake custard and pin striped peanuts and his brand- new dessert, golden crackle from his Bennelong menu.

Both dishes must be cooked simultaneously with five hours cook time allowed, and 25 additional minutes to plate up. Each dish will receive a score out of 10 from the judges and Peter Gilmore, with a total of 80 points on offer.

The round three scores will be added to their tally. The contestant who scores the most points overall will win the title of MasterChef 2021 and walk away with $250,000.

  1. After last year when I had no interest in either of the 2 finalists this year all 3 are among my favourite contestants. The joy & fun in the room last night during the MasterClass shows why MC Australia is the benchmark for this type of show worldwide.
