  1. Total numbers for last Monday – wow! It does show people do like to watch shows later. Especially those who like to watch both MFAS and AS! Thank you for including these numbers David. I doubt Olympics results will be as high a week later! Sport tends to attract live audiences.

  2. Loving the Winter Olympics but there is just too much hosting and not enough Olympics. Hamish McBland is almost unwatchable. And why do they go to all the expense of putting a camera in family members living rooms. We are here for the competition, not to see a group of unknowns having a party. Please, please, please just concentrate on the Games.

  3. Just look at those total TV numbers for MAFS and Survivor! That’s the real story here. It clearly demonstrates that FTA audiences are still there and the content offered by the networks is as appealing as ever. Why isn’t anyone highlighting this? Instead we get negative articles across the board about overnight audiences being down…like that’s all that matters? Those metrics are no longer relevant…audiences don’t march to the beat of a Programmers drum…but clearly they still watch…just on their one schedule!

        1. Yes, but if you record and watch later ad free, this is not included in these ratings. Only playback at normal speed is included. However, I’m Not sure if / how they can account for ad blocking when streaming shows on the networks websites (desktop/mobile). Not so much an issue with streaming via smart TV.

  4. Still loving Survivor. Maybe I misunderstood it but did I hear Sandra’s daughter say to her when they were just about to battle it out in the challenge that they got paid $500 thou so not too worried? I think they have both been good value so far anyway which has surprised me.
