“Big plans” for Bachelor franchise

Bachelor producers are tight-lipped on what's coming for dating franchise this year.

Rumours have been swirling that the next season of The Bachelor may also include The Bachelorette, but while 10 is yet to confirm details, producers are also tight-lipped.

Caroline Swift, Warner Bros. Australia Head of Entertainment said, “I’m very, very excited about our plans for this season. It’s gonna be big. We’re taking some big swings.”

10 recently confirmed The Bachelor will film on the Gold Coast and screen later this year. It has also announced The Real Love Boat for 2022, which could be a hint about its heavy petting slate.

Meanwhile, Caroline Swift is also overseeing The Masked Singer for 10 which will welcome back a studio audience for Season 4.

“Finally we have an audience, so I think that’s going to elevate it back up to what it was like in Series One. It’s very hard to perform the show with no audience. We’re casting for it now and it’s such a joy because it’s a lot of people want to do it.”

  1. Finishing the Bachelor and Bachelorette and all the rip offs would make me happy. Channel ten will keep a show going no matter what the ratings as long as they reach their target audience ie people who buy stuff they advertise.

    1. She’s probably moved on to other things by now, but I would like to see her back if she’s available. Hughes and especially Carlson are painful to watch.

    2. Yes, I’d love to see Lindsay (or, really, any other big Hollywood star) join the panel of The Masked Singer, even as a guest…the show isn’t as entertaining without star-power.
