FBI finale pulled following US shooting

Storyline concering a school shooting will not air in USA or Australia as planned.

CBS has pulled the Season 4 finale of FBI following the shooting at a Texas elementary school that saw 21 people killed.

The storyline concerns a school shooting. The official synopsis reads: “As the team investigates a deadly robbery that garnered a cache of automatic weapons for the killers, they discover one of the perps is a classmate of Jubal’s son, who is reluctant to cooperate with the case.”

A repeat will air in its place.

Yesterday’s shooting took place at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas saw Salvador Ramos 18, kill at least 19 children and two teachers before being shot dead by police.

The shooter reportedly shot and killed his grandmother before going to the school.

The episode was also due to screen in Australia Sunday night on 10 but has now been replaced with a repeat.

  1. I recall an ep of ‘Buffy’ was pulled because there was a reference to a possible school shooting in the plot in the wake of Columbine-nothing changes in the US, except the scale of the disaster…

  2. Unfortunately CBS make have trouble finding a week without a shooting incident to air it. There were 61 attempted mass shootings in the US in 2021, and they have doubled since Covid and #BLM riots and the storming of The Capital.
