Friday Flashback: Logie Awards 1987 TV themes ballet

In 1987 Network 10 broadcast the Logie Awards with host Don Lane at the Hyatt in Melbourne.

In a show of complete neutrality, singer Michael Cormack & the Jillian Fitzgerald dancers performed a routine showcasing all of the network themes.

Will we ever see the likes of this again? Sets a very high bar for this Sunday’s performers…. just sayin’!
