Seven has released its first teaser for My Kitchen Rules.
The series features Manu Feildel, Nigella Lawson and Matt Preston as judges with Colin Fassnidge and Curtis Stone as guest judges.
“When you think about the food you love, it’s nearly always home cooking. I’m a home cook and it’s the food that I want to eat. I’ve come 17,000 kilometres to find Australia’s best home cooks!” said Nigella.
“As MKR judges, we make the perfect team with our years of experience in professional and home kitchens respectively,” says Manu.
“As lovers of delicious food and a fabulous dinner party, I can promise you we’re also going to have a lot of fun!”
Set to screen after the Commonwealth Games, the series is produced by ITV Studios Australia.
Real people cooking real food will give it their all to convince judges Nigella Lawson and Manu Feildel they are Australia’s best home cooks, as home cooking queen Nigella embarks on a mission to uncover treasured family recipes.
Nigella will travel around Australia with returning host and judge Manu as they critique a new batch of passionate home cooks.

I thought the promo wasn’t bad. It’s a show that is sold overseas so the pressure is there for it to be good. The casting needs to be good when the perception is halfway between amateur and professional. It’s better for the contestants to be cooking enthusiasts. Some of the past contestants were very amateur. Though the show has an intention this time to learn from past mistakes and criticisms, and that should be commended. To early to tell though it might be good. It’s worth a chance to check it out at least.
Eesh, as others have said, the promo is pretty cringeworthy, but Nigella is a good get. I didn’t mind the old days when the worst the “villians” did was have an over-inflated sense of how good their cooking was, or scoring strategically.
Oh dear….it’s a no from me….
The plates of food did not appeal…I want to like this but the promo has not endeared me…😞
My wife and I just cringed watching this promo and it’s a no for us too
Saw them filming in James Street in Brisbane at Standard Market Co. The contestants had Coles bags but were not shopping at a Coles.
I cant see Nigella or Matt sitting around a table in the suburbs under a carport listening to bitchy conversation. So beneath them
As the promo suggests it’s returning to more feelgood this year. Seven has noted the mistakes the show made in later seasons. Look to the music in this promo…
i cant see the promo in the story
My bad, fixed!
Nigella in the car looked like she’d been fired from Celebrity Apprentice.
It’s a no from me.
