US teen actor best known for Just Add Magic: Mystery City,and 9-1-1: Lone Star has died.

US teen actor Tyler Sanders, best known for Just Add Magic: Mystery City and 9-1-1: Lone Star has died aged just 18 years old.

According to multiple reports, he died on Thursday in his Los Angeles home. The Los Angeles County’s Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office lists the actor’s cause of death as “deferred.” There’s a “pending additional investigation” into what led to his death.

Sanders started acting at 10 years old, starring in several short films. He booked his first major TV role in 2017,  in an episode of Fear the Walking Dead then The Rookie and 9-1-1: Lone Star.

In 2019, he guest-starred in the final episode of the children’s fantasy series Just Add Magic which led to the spinoff series Just Add Magic: Mystery City landing a nomination for best principal performance in a children’s program at the Daytime Emmy Awards.

Just Add Magic: Mystery City screened in Australia on Nickelodeon and 9-1-1: Lone Star on Seven.
