FOX Footy marks AFL Grand Final Week with AFL 360 Live, special editions of The Bounce and Best on Ground, Grand Final Parade, The Longest Kick and more.
The action ramps up on Thursday evening when AFL 360 broadcasts live in front of a studio audience for the first time since the fan-favourite show began 12 years ago. Gerard Whateley and Mark Robinson will speak with AFL boss Gillon McLachlan, reigning Norm Smith Medallist Christian Petracca and 2020 Brownlow Medallist Lachie Neale, while award-winning cartoonist Mark Knight will also unveil his AFL Premiership posters.
On the same blockbuster night of footy entertainment, host of Bounce Jason Dunstall will wrangle the often-unpredictable troupe of Andrew Gaze, Cameron Mooney, Bernie Vince and Ben Dixon in front of a live-studio audience. The cheeky fivesome will celebrate the best bits of Bounce from the season.
Grand Final Eve gets underway on Friday with the Grand Final Parade featuring the two competing teams going down the Yarra River on boats in a bold shake-up to the much-loved tradition.
Then, that evening, Best On Ground will celebrate the season and feature the best ten moments from the show – all in front of the biggest studio audience for 2022. Mark Howard, Kath Loughnan, Jonathan Brown, Nathan Buckley and Nick Riewoldt will also perform their first live skit, face-off in a Grand Final Macca’s ‘What Are You Lovin’ Moment and unpack their Top 10 Clangers.
Once Saturday arrives it’s non-stop fun and analysis for the whole family. The North Melbourne Breakfast leads into Grand Final Day On Fox which includes the return of Longest Kick at The Yarra. The superstar line-up of 2022 kicks this year includes:
Al Downie (team captain), Collingwood. The new ruck with a big kick.
Chloe Molloy (team captain), Collingwood. A skilled and fierce competitor.
Cameron Zurhaar, North Melbourne. The Tank will aim to launch the Sherrin across the Yarra.
Charlie Curnow, Carlton. The game’s most athletic full-forward and 2022’s Coleman Medallist.
Darcy Fogarty, Adelaide. Coming off his personal best season – a young gun with a booming kick.
Jack Ginnivan, Collingwood. Fan-favourite cult-figure aiming to entertain off the field as well.
James Sicily, Hawthorn. The Hawthorn captain who can do it all.
Sam Draper, Essendon. The Goal of the Year recipient who has already proven his kicking prowess.
Steven May, Melbourne. The game’s premier defender with a big powerful left foot.
Plus more to be announced.
Following the Longest Kick competition, hosts Jason Dunstall and Ben Dixon hand back to Brad Johnson, Cameron Mooney, David King, Garry Lyon, Jonathan Brown, Jordan Lewis, Kath Loughnan, Leigh Montagna, Nathan Buckley, Nick Riewoldt and Sarah Jones and for their pre-game analysis on Grand Final Day On Fox with the AFL-dedicated channel then playing the replay straight after the game.

Best on Ground looks to be a favourite for a couple of Goggleboxers. Both Anastasia and Matt Dalton spotted in the studio audience in recent weeks.

no Grand Final marathon? just replays of the parade and Best on Ground…
Absolutely ridiculous that Foxtel and other streaming services cannot show AFL and NRL grand finals live!
Yes these events are significant and should be on Free to Air tv, but those that want to watch via streaming services with far better coverage and commentators should be able to! Free to air stations should not be able to just pick and chose when and what they show!
