Karl: “You have 72 hours to come on our show”

The Today show has thrown out a cheeky demand to new Twitter owner, Elon Musk.

With Twitter in a freefall at the moment, the Today show has thrown out a cheeky demand to new owner, Elon Musk.

“You have 72 hours to come on our show, otherwise the little blue bird cops it,” he vowed.

Given they have 418k followers Today might want to hope Elon doesn’t just suspend their account in reply. Or the network’s accounts all together.

But I’m more struck by the parody choice given Nine itself was the subject of a cyber attack in CEO Mike Sneesby’s first week. Weekend Today couldn’t even broadcast the day that happened, as IT teams were left scrambling.

  1. I love the fact there is a genius out there roaming this world sticking it to Elon who actually come up with the idea to have “Jesus” with an account, I spotted it on 12th. The description is “Jesus Christ @ Jesus” followed by occupation “Carpenter, Healer, God.” Birthplace “Israel”. Joined in “2006”, Following “800.9K” but best of all was Followers “Bec Hill, Josh Grant, Dr Vic Clarke and only 18 others”. I would love to know what Elon’s reaction to that tweet was.
