Alex chosen as Prime Video Buff

Alex Bain, from Queensland, has been recruited as a Prime Video Buff, paid $40k to watch content and recommend titles on the streaming service’s social platforms.

Job perks include streaming previews and access to red-carpet events for the role, designed to help customers discover something new to watch over summer.

The 36-year-old TikTok and Instagram fan said, “I grew up in the era of the E.T. and Indiana Jones films – this magical time of cinema that fuelled a healthy escapism during my childhood. Very early on I wanted to be part of the world of film and TV, and that kicked off my course in film and communications. The Prime Video Buff role is literally my dream job and I’m proud to be joining the Australian team for this once in a lifetime role. It’s like this job was made for me!”
