AO, MAFS pushes Nine to weekly win.

Men's Final tops the week while reality juggernaut leaves the competition scrambling.

Nine claimed the penultimate week of summer thanks to the Australian Open and the return of Married at First Sight.

Novak Djokovic’s win at the Men’s Final topped the week at 1.32m metro viewers, but was down on 2022’s 1.61m.

MAFS launched to 839,000 as the top entertainment show of the week. That left a battle between Australian Survivor, highest at 447,000, inching ahead of Australian Idol‘s 434,000.

Seven News continues its run at 864,000 while the Big Bash League finished with 502,000.

  1. Even though AO numbers are down this year, it is still doing the job for Nine and the subsequent flow on effect on the launch of MAFS. At one stage, I thought things may be different (with Idol) but it looks like Nine will very likely be winning everything (total plus demo) until the AFL season commences. And also hoping that TEN will not fall too far behind.
