Logies venue not yet confirmed

Originally set by Seven for June 18, the Logie Awards are without a firm venue, and according to media reports, a new 2023 date.

The Australian reports the nominal date is already off the table, amid some frustration from networks at the waiting game.

“For planning purposes, it may be useful to know the event will likely fall in the new financial year,” publicist Kelly Black reportedly told networks.

Last year’s event was June 19 on the Gold Coast, but has previously been held as late as July.

TV Tonight understands Seven management is keen for a Sydney event.

AACTA Awards have also moved to the Gold Coast following end of support from Destination NSW. Might that be an indicator of things to come?
