Returning: Blue Bloods

US procedural returns to 10 tonight with new episodes.

I very nearly missed that Blue Bloods returns to 10 tonight with new episodes.

It returns with S13 E9 “Nothing Sacred” which screened in the US in January.

Joe contends with a grave insult to his father’s memory, Henry tries to bust a scammer targeting the elderly, Danny intervenes in an undercover op and Eddie’s captain takes suspicious interest in her.

7:30pm Saturday on 10.

  1. I used to like this show but there seems to be less time spent on solving crimes (with Donnie Wahlberg) and more time on boring storylines with the police commisioner (Tom Selleck). Plus its viewing times are all over the shop.

    1. Blue Blood has been fast tracked this season, and had a long production break over Christmas in the US. Better than back in S10 and 11 when it was moving around between late Thurs, Friday or Saturday nights. There hasn’t been a lot of logic to 10’s scheduling, simply dumping whatever doesn’t fit elsewhere on Saturdays. They didn’t start the final season of NCIS: LA, then tried to catch up before the crossover, discovered that many eps were MA and couldn’t be aired at 7:30pm Sat, so they jumped ahead to the crossover ep. Now they have now dumped it for some Blue Bloods.
