Farmer Wants a Wife 2023: meet the cast

Farmers Wants a Wife‘s Andrew & David last night chose the 5 ladies they will invite back to their farms, following Farmers Brad, Brenton & Matt selections the night before.

As the series progresses with host Sam Armytage, numbers will be whittled down with all five farmers finding romance by the season finale.

Farmer Brad

Brad is a crop and cattle farmer who enjoys being around people.
He doesn’t take life too seriously but knows how to be serious when it is needed. Brad coaches a Rugby Union team, is a charity auctioneer and a go-to emcee for weddings. He’s a good communicator and has no trouble talking about his feelings or expressing them by writing a few songs. Brad would like his partner to be his best mate as well as his teammate.

This sixth-generation cattle farmer is always up for a good time and a laugh. Brenton can be shy when he meets new people, but once he gets to
know them, he’ll do everything he can to make sure they are having a
good time. He loves country music but has a soft spot for Taylor Swift as well. Brenton is looking for someone who’s kind, takes pride in herself, gets along with everyone and is easy to talk to.

“Someone who is respectful, kind, loving and honest. Someone who’s willing to give new things a go and knows how to communicate.”
What is important to you in a relationship?
“Trust is a big thing. Communication. Not just being able to communicate but

Farmer Matt

Matt is a fifth-generation sheep and cattle farmer. Matt claims to be well-versed in the world of cooking and cleaning. He’s well-travelled with lots of stories to tell, is a hopeless romantic and, as he knows lots of random facts, would make an excellent trivia partner. He’s also a volunteer firefighter. Matt believes that the most exciting thing about love is that it can you hit you in the face when you least expect it. He can’t wait to meet the ladies on the show.
Would you like to have children?
“Yes, eventually I would like to have children. However, I feel it’s important to wait till I get married to the right person, which could happen in the next three to five years.”
What is the most interesting thing about you?
“I am well-travelled and have spent time overseas in Europe. I’ve worked in
agriculture and horse shows in Ireland.”
