MKR: Colin Fassnidge judges with Manu Feildel, Nigella for finals.

More changes ahead for Seven cooking show when it returns at the end of Q3.

Seven has managed to secure Nigella Lawson for the finals of My Kitchen Rules, the Daily Telegraph reports.

But the season will be hosted and judged by Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge when it returns at the end of Q3.

Fassnidge joined the series in Season 4, last year appearing as a guest judge while fronting Kitchen Nightmares Australia.

But Seven is yet to announce any return of the restaurant makeover show, instead promoting Fassnidge into a co-hosting role on MKR.

Manu said: “I am looking forward to another MKR journey in 2023. I can’t wait to meet our new teams, eat some gorgeous food and work with my good mate Colin, and it’s so wonderful to have my dear friend Nigella back to join us in Kitchen HQ. Superb!”

Colin said: “It’s great to be back with my MKR family again! I’m looking forward to getting out on the road, meeting the teams, and working with Nigella and my favourite Frenchman, Manu.”

Nigella said: “I’m so thrilled to be back on MKR! It combines two of my favourite pastimes: championing home cooking and eating wonderful Australian food.”

Matt Preston is not confirmed to return this season.

“Last year was really important for re-establishing MKR back as home cooks, people sitting around a table, and bringing it back from that extreme dialogue that had infected it, right at the end of its run. Nigella’s face stamped that, I think,”  Seven scheduler Brook Hall recently told TV Tonight.
