Auditions: The 1% Club

Seven is proceeding with a second season of Jim Jefferies game show, to be filmed in August.

Casting is underway for a second season of The 1% Club for Seven, although a renewal is yet to be formally announed.

Hosted by comedian Jim Jefferies, a second season will film in Sydney during August (season one was in Melbourne).

This week the show won its timeslot with 555,000 metro viewers.

According to a casting notice, “You don’t need to be a trivia wiz. This is a show about how you think, not what you know!”

Applicants must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident at least 18 years of age at the time of applying.

I love this show…it’s not like other quiz shows where some people like to show off thinking they know all the answers and they’re really smart, (Barry Jones on Pick a Box…he even argued about the answers) then bomb when they’re obviously not (Think Tank comes to mind) this show is based on logic commonsense and observation and no one has to impress the audience with their answers…Jim is obviously loud but it’s a show you can turn down the sound (which I do) because the questions and answers are on the screen like most quiz shows.
