Neighbours to fast-forward by two years
It's been off air a year, but two years will have passed in soapie land when Ramsay Street storylines resume in September.

10 has released a new Neighbours promo which confirms rumours of a two year time leap for the soap, which is understood to help writers work around the various changes between production ending and restarting.
10 is also teasing “the wedding of the year… with a jaw dropping twist!”
A lot can happen in two years, and although some things remain the same, there have been some surprising changes on Ramsay Street.
Mischa Barton and Guy Pearce join much loved familiar faces, Alan Fletcher, Jackie Woodburne, Stefan Dennis, Ryan Moloney, Annie Jones, Rebekah Elmaloglou, Georgie Stone, Tim Kano, Lucinda Cowden and Lucinda Armstrong Hall, alongside new kids on the block, Shiv Palekar, Sara West, Naomi Rukavina and Xavier Molyneux.
4:30pm Monday September 18 on 10 (6:30pm 10 Peach).

4:30? Why bother. Instead of a 2 year jump it should be moving with the times & getting a more adult timeslot with more adult storylines. Such a wasted opportunity. We need a good soap like Emmerdale & Corrie in the U.K.
Im sure it’s Chloe and elly as Susan seen dancing.. only guest roles… it be nice if explain the departures of the missing characters….
You have to remember Amazon has their eye on the UK where the show was still rating. Soaps have moved to streaming in the US so they must have done their sums.
After the first couple of episodes I was planning to watch on catch up through Prime, but I don’t have faith in them. Their uploading of episodes is a disaster and so hard to get them to understand.
Currently 2017 -2022 show up in the search bar only but the episode list doesn’t appear.

Guy Pearce won’t be sticking around, so I’m pleased Jane and Mike at least got 2 years together

Well they did fast forward past Covid 🙂
So, it looks like Mike and Jane are getting married. And so are Paul and Terese? Wonder what the twist is? Can’t wait to see everyone again! It’s been too long!!
It’s meant to lead you down one garden path, so both won’t be true.
So the story reboots in the year2024 😁
